Original acetate covered blue card wrap covers, black title lettering and silhouette to the front cover. 4to 12'' x 8¼''. HMS Superb (Eighth) was built by Swan Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd., Wallsend, Tyne and Wear, she was a Minotaur-class light cruiser of the Royal Navy. The ship entered service in 1945 and had a brief, quiet career before being decommissioned in 1957 after her modernisation was cancelled. She was broken up in 1960. Contains colour printed title page, 50 printed pages of text with archive monochrome photographs throughout. Small crease line of the acetate to the top front corner and in near Fine condition.
