The catalogue is complemented by an 8-page foreword by Sacheverell Sitwell. This was a remarkable collection of items, brought together from a large number of collectors who lent each piece for the exhibition, and who are all named in the catalogue, making this a valuable reference for sourcing past owners of each piece.
