First edition thus hard back binding in publisher's original quarter black cloth, printed Chartreuse green paper covered boards, blocked and lettered gilt back, black speckled designed end sheets. Atlas folio 21½'' x 14¼''. From a limited printing of 2000 copies on specially made white cartridge bound by Mansell of London. Contains colour title, 20 pp followed by the plates printed in 6 and 8 colour photo-litho offset and collotype monochrome by Van Leer of Amsterdam, reproduced from the edition of 1824, as well as a new bibliography of Redouté's publications and contributions to the publications of others. Light rubbing to the corners, contents in very near Fine condition. We regret this cumbersome oversize volume cannot be despatched to destinations outside of the UK. Member of the P.B.F.A.
