Publisher's original illustrated paper covers. 8vo 8½" x 6" 68 pp. 44 archive monochrome photographic illustrations. The Tithe Act of 1936 has left an entirely unsatisfactory state of affairs. It leaves the tithe-paying farmers disgruntled and antagonistic, and puts the country in the position of placing a proportion of its most important citizens in this unsatisfactory state of mind for some sixty years. Agriculture is, in fact, made the scapegoat for the Church of England. The Government has satisfied its Church financially without the consent of its farmer Tithepayers. Short closed tear to foot of spine, small marks and pencil lines to covers, contents in Good condition. Member of the P.B.F.A.
