Second issue hard back binding in publisher's original deluxe half vellum binding, apricot cloth covered sides, blocked and lettered gilt back with tools to the spine ends and centre, dated to the foot, top edge gilt, peach and cream marble end papers. Royal 4to. 13¾'' x 10''. Contains (xii), errata leaf, printer's colophon, 216 pp with 100 plates including 25 in colour. Ex West Bromwich Free Library with small code number label to the front paste down, two ink numbers to the title leaf, plates with small oval blind embossed stamp, not being on loan, it is without any library card pockets or issuing labels. Text block clean and without any finger marks of foxing. Heavy volume weighing 3.5 kg, extra postage will be requested over and above our default setting for destinations outside of the UK.
