Howells, Roscoe [Squadron Leader John Eric Tipton DFC* (1918-2018) British officer served as a navigator with 40 Squadron, RAF in Great Britain and Malta, 1941-1942; served with 109 Squadron, Pathfinder Force, RAF in Great Britain, 1943-1944; served as Oboe (British aerial blind bombing system in World War II, based on radio transponder technology), ground controller in Netherlands, 1944-1945]. William Frost (28 May 1848 - March 1935) was a Welsh designer of an early flying machine, the Frost Airship Glider.
