Fawsley Hall Original Architectural Drawings Rainald Knightley, 1st Baron Knightley (22 October 1819 – 19 December 1895), known as Sir Rainald Knightley, 3rd Baronet, from 1864 to 1892, was a British Conservative Party politician. [James Whatman Papermaker] (Book #ID 93402) Printed 1880 - 1887 Fawsley Hall and landscape park was created by the Knightley family. Richard Knightley, a well-to-do Staffordshire lawyer, bought the manor of Fawsley in 1416. His grandson Richard, knighted by Henry VII, built the first wing of the present house. 6 original architecture drawings from Fawsley Hall on hand made wove paper 'J. Whatman, Turkey Mill, 1880 and 1883' watermarks. Comprising: Small colour plan circa 1840 14½'' x 10¼''. Large colour plan 1880 22½'' x 15¼'' copied by H.
