New Hudson Bicycle Monochrome Postcard [Post Card] George Patterson [New Hudson Bicycle] (Book #ID 87470) circa 1948. 5½'' x 3½'' unused monochrome post card of a small girl proudly showing off her new 'New Hudson' bicycle with two bystanders. The New Hudson marque began in the late 1800's as a bicycle factory in Birmingham, England. The Raleigh Cruising [Cycling] Game + 4 Plastic Models [Raleigh Cycles] Woodhead and Angois (Book #ID 86572) Published by The Raleigh Cycle Co. Ltd., Nottingham circa 1950. 1950. Replica 19'' x 11½'' fold-out coloured board game on thick card. Playing instructions to the rear. The instructions state that the cyclists should be in metal stands, however, the four cyclists that are included are on plastic stands and slightly larger than the squares allocated for each move. Each cyclist is a different design and colour. Light foxing to the covers, small rubs to the corners and in Very Good condition. The Raleigh Bicycle Company is a bicycle manufacturer originally based in Nottingham. Founded by Woodhead and Angois in 1885, who used Raleigh as their brand name, it is one of the oldest bicycle companies in the world. It became The Raleigh Cycle Company in December 1888, which was registered as a limited liability company in January 1889.
