Marking the 650th anniversary of the first Garter Feast in 1349, it includes a list of all those appointed to the Order between 1348 and 1998, and sheds light on the origins and duties of the Officers of the Order. Contains 469 printed pages of text with colour and monochrome illustrations and archive photographs throughout.
