First edition hard back binding in publisher's original illustrated olive and black paper covered boards, sage and beige illustrated lining papers. Quarto. 10'' x 7½''. Svend P. Jørgensen was a Danish ceramicist and artist from Svendborg who played an important role in the collaboration with Ravnild Ceramics. Ravnild Keramik, founded in the late 1940s, was known for its artistic experiments and production of stoneware and ceramics. The factory collaborated with several artists, including Svend P. Jørgensen, which gave them the opportunity to create unique works of art and experiment with different techniques and styles. Jørgensen contributed both individual works of art and production items to Ravnild Keramik, resulting in a diverse collection of artistic ceramics. The factory operated until 1986, when production ceased and the last owners, Nils Kau and Jette Pedersen, continued to work independently. Contains 85 pp Danish text with full-page and part-part wood-cut monochrome illustrations throughout.
