Produced to look and feel like a small book in the manufacturers original hard back green cloth covers with central cream description label to the front cover, red marble paper end papers. 4½'' x 3½''. Impregnated paper which can be used to identify the sign of an electric terminal or the like by the change of colour it undergoes when brought into contact with the terminal. Contains approximately 50 perforated pages, the first four sheets have been detached. [1937] Manufacturing chemists. [1948] The company became so closely identified with the district and its address that the company name was officially changed from Johnson and Sons, Manufacturing Chemists Ltd; to Johnsons of Hendon Limited. But Johnson and Sons had been using this business name in advertisements for at least two years previous to 1948, maybe since the end of W.W.II. In Very Good clean condition. Member of the P.B.F.A.
