Large 8vo 10½'' x 7¼''. Contains [xx] + 354 printed pages of text with 20 lovely full-page single-sided hand coloured plates from original watercolour drawings by J. & G Temple, as called for. Tipped to recto of front free end page is two page advertisement by the publisher of "Works edited by W. C. A. Blew, M. A." with "Notitia Venatica "on recto and " The Noble Science" on verso, behind this is another tipped-in dedication dated 1893.
