	1995 Pininfarina Argento Viva Car Brochure + Mounted Colour Photograph [Pininfarina and Honda Together for the Argento Vivo] (Book #ID 74993) Printed 1995. 1995. Original stapled silver and white card wrap covers [softback]. Landscape 9½'' x 13''. Contains 20 pages of English and Japanese text with colour illustrations, photographs and technical drawings throughout, cut-out model to the rear, loosely inserted is a 9½'' x 13'' mounted colour photograph on Pininfarina-Honda titled card. Corners turned-up and in Very Good clean condition. The Argento Vivo evolved from the Honda-based car into further cars based on the Mercedes SL600 chassis. The interior was custom built by Pininfarina and consists of carbon fibre door panels, dashboard, centre console and special leather and carbon fibre seats. Only four of these incredible machines were ever built, all of which were delivered to the Royal Family of Brunei, at a cost of over $2 million USD each. Two of these cars remain in the possession of the Royal Family of Brunei; the intense secrecy surrounding the special automotive projects that the Royal Family commissioned means that the very existence of these cars is virtually unknown to anyone except those most closely involved with the family's projects. The specialist workshop facility that Pininfarina used for the construction of the special 'Brunei' cars has now been closed, meaning that the Argento Viva will probably be the last Pininfarina-designed Mercedes. Contains 20 pages of English and Japanese text with colour illustrations, photographs and technical drawings throughout, cut-out model to the rear, loosely inserted is a 9½'' x 13'' mounted colour photograph on Pininfarina-Honda titled card. Corners turned-up and in Very Good clean condition. The Argento Vivo evolved from the Honda-based car into further cars based on the Mercedes SL600 chassis. The interior was custom built by Pininfarina and consists of carbon fibre door panels, dashboard, centre console and special leather and carbon fibre seats. Only four of these incredible machines were ever built, all of which were delivered to the Royal Family of Brunei, at a cost of over $2 million USD each. Two of these cars remain in the possession of the Royal Family of Brunei; the intense secrecy surrounding the special automotive projects that the Royal Family commissioned means that the very existence of these cars is virtually unknown to anyone except those most closely involved with the family's projects. The specialist workshop facility that Pininfarina used for the construction of the special 'Brunei' cars has now been closed, meaning that the Argento Viva will probably be the last Pininfarina-designed Mercedes. We can only imagine that this brochure is as scarce as the car itself!! Member of the P.B.F.A.
