First edition hard back contemporary binding in half terracotta morocco, the spine divided into six panels, lettered in the second, tooling to the others, top edge gilt, Amaranth pink cloth sides, marble end papers. 8vo. 9½'' x 6¼''. Contains (14) + 126, (160) lithographic plates (98 perspective views, remainder plans, of which two folding). When being rebound the binder inadvertently put the first gathering last, therefore Gloucester Cathedral appears at the end of the volume, rather than the beginning. Candle burn to the top of the spine, ink name to the half-title. Member of the P.B.F.A.
