One of 125 numbered copies printed at the Curwen Press on St. Cuthberts' Fourdrinier, this copy out of series, from a total edition of 175 copies. Contains a seven-page introduction which precedes Ardizzone's eleven-page holograph diary extracts of adventures in Normandy with his brother and Barnett Freedman. In Fine condition, no dust wrapper as issued. From the private library and estate of Edward Ardizzone, SIGNED by his wife Catherine (née Anderson) to the front free end paper 'For Gelda (married to Philip, there second child), with love Catherine | January 1982'.
