First edition hard back binding in publisher's original cloth printed in pastel colours with Dickens characters. 8vo. 8½'' x 6''. Some entries by previous owner, some Ardizzone related. Each three days on double page one with extracts from Dickens books opposite, Ardizzone illustrations on monthly headings as well as the boards. Rubbing of the cloth along the bottom edges. Good condition book in Poor condition torn dust wrapper with significant losses. From the private library and estate of Edward Ardizzone and SIGNED by him to the second front free end paper 'Edward Ardizzone | Christmas 1970' signed for Aingelda (Edward Ardizzone's daughter-in-law) Ardizzone.'
