Stalker, James [Historian James Stalker (21 February 1848 - 5 February 1927) He studied at Edinburgh University and at Halle and Berlin, and also at New College, Edinburgh. He became Minister of St. Brycedale Church, Kirkcaldy, in 1874, and then of St. Matthew's, Glasgow, 1887. Stalker lectured at Yale in 1891, in Louisville, Kentucky, in 1904, and in Richmond, Virginia, in 1914. He was Professor of Church History in the United Free Church College, Aberdeen, 1902].
