Hard back binding in contemporary half burgundy leather, the spine divided into six panels, title label to the second, gilt tools to the others, blocked gilt title to the front, burgundy silk cloth sides, olivine top edge, marble fore and lower edges, reinforced burgundy hinges, cream silk laid end papers. 4to. 13'' x 10''. Contains (iv), 256 pp with hundreds of photographs of cricketers both as single full-page plates and throughout the text including several teams. Exterior of the front hinge is cracked and repaired, the interior hinge is not cracked, pieces of leather missing to the top spine panel, damp stains to the boards, contents not affected.
