Later edition hard back binding in publisher's original embossed moss green cloth covered boards, blocked and lettered gilt back, gilt vignette to the front board, top edge gilt. 8vo. 7½'' x 5¼''. The original work in two large quarto volumes is given here complete and unaltered further than being reduced in size properly paged and indexed for easy reference with suitable tail-piece illustrations. Contains two tissue-guarded frontispieces, 343 pp with 74 full-page colour plates, these clan costumes printed from tri-colour blocks by A. R. Goldie of Glasgow. Spine sun faded, small name to the top of the front paste down, off-setting to the end papers and in Very Good square and sound condition. Member of the P.B.F.A.
