Omar Khayyám (18 May 1048 - 4 December 1131) was a Persian mathematician, astronomer, philosopher, and poet. [Rendered into English Verse by Edward FitzGerald (31 March 1809 - 14 June 1883)]. Illustrated by Willy Pogany (August 24, 1882 - July 30, 1955) prolific Hungarian illustrator of children's and other books.

Rubáiyát over 94 pages carrying the 75 quatrains of Edward FitzGerald's version enriched with 4 full-page colour plates in to framed mounts, pages in dark brown text with line drawing decorations at head and heal of text. Very Good condition book in Very Good condition dust wrapper, not price clipped, 2/6. Dust wrapper protected. Member of the P.B.F.A.
